What We Do

The Lab is held by Mark Jim Group and guided by Constellation Island, an independent product studio. It isn’t a course and it isn’t an incubator. It’s a working studio you learn inside. A client brings real commissioned work, a new builder ships it under senior architecture and review, and their name is on the result. Both sides leave with more: software delivered, and a builder who now has a first real credit. Alongside the apprenticeship, founders are taken from first commit to first customer with a mentor in the loop, and early-stage ideas get the studio’s hands on architecture, build, and review. The doors aren’t open yet. A room in Toronto, committed mentors, client work lined up, and a funded first cohort all come first.
